[1]  The “Me” Brands: 
This is a very common one.

This is the “hey look at me” brands.

The business is usually named after them.

They are the hero and the customer should want to buy from them over the competition because look how great they are! 

It's not their fault, they don't know any better... and this used to work really well.

But customers don’t give a shit about you, they give shits about themselves. 

So if you’re selling at them, they will disconnect and bounce.

Ain't nobody got time for that. 
[2]  The “Me Too” Brands: 
This is the most common.

It’s when someone resells something because they know people are buying that thing. 

So they spin up a generic brand to make it look new and different. 

But it’s hollow middleman operation thats deficient in meaning.

People already have too many options...

Selling “another option” in a sea of sameness is a waste of time for everyone.

The ones that have that * special something *  you just can’t put your finger on…

But boy do people want it!
